I can’t believe it’s butter! Spotlight: Soynut butter
It seems like anything can be really made of anything these days. I mean, now there’s even milk made of almonds and hemp, and shorts and wallets made of duct tape. And when it comes to soy, don’t even get me started. Soy milk, soy cereal, soy formula, soybean oil, we can continue with many things.
Well, here’s something to add to the list: soynut butter. Wait, don’t brush it off yet; this tasty spread is a great, healthy source of fats and even fiber, too. Especially for us vegetarians who have trouble finding healthy, nutritious snacks or sources of fat that aren’t artery-clogging. Now, I’m sure you savvy vegetarians out there (no pun intended, savvyvegetarian.com) have tried some of the many “butters” available out there, like of cashews or almonds. But with this one I’ve only in the past year or so have I been acquainted and let’s just say, move over peanut butter! “Jelly has a new best friend.“

Tonight I’d like to shine the spotlight on a products by a company with the name “I.M. Healthy” which is soynut butter. A tasty product indeed, this creative topping or dip or snack eaten plain is also gluten- and dairy-free, making it great for schools or for groups with dietary specifications. What’s more, it even comes in chocolate flavor! Great taste, affordable-ness, safety and even nutrition all in one butter. Wow.
