A little about the raw food diet… more to come

with 2 comments

Tonight I’d like to feature a way of life similar the the previously-featured macrobiotic diet that is the raw food diet. This way of eating features a focus on eating wholesome, unprocessed foods (mainly fruits and vegetables) that is believed by many to be the path to true well-being. To explore more about this diet, I’d like to link to a very informative article I found on the Vegan Society’s website here.

Now, I don’t know what exactly to think about eating all raw food, but I can definitely see the value in eating wholesome and highly uncooked foods to keep as many nutrients and good parts of a food as possible. To be honest, much of the food I eat now would be considered “raw”. However, I don’t think I could give up, for example, beans or bread. Anyway, see for yourself and what you think. There’s an article on raw food veganism here.

Also, for some resources elsewhere, I know of two good YouTube Channels here (Ani Phyo the raw food chef) and here (a promoter of raw food diet).

Let me know what you think, and if you like the blog, feel free to subscribe.

Be well,

Brian
